The Quiet Village family has grown over the past 20+ years to now include a dedicated team for landscape maintenance, landscape design, hardscaping, irrigation & horticultural care. The team is supported by a close-knit office team that serves as the base-of-operations while everyone else is busy working on-site of each property we care for across St. Louis.

Gardener & Horticulture Crew Member

Connect with nature on our ‘Oasis All-Star’ landscaping team. Work as part of a positive, passionate, hard-working team to install and maintain eco-friendly gardens of perennials, trees and shrubs. Maintain outdoor estates with professionalism and poise. Work with hand tools and small machinery to renovate, maintain or remediate outdoor spaces for our clients.

The details:

  • At least one year experience in landscaping is useful, however we offer a robust green-industry training program for those without prior experience.
  • Basic horticultural / plant identification knowledge is a BIG plus.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and driving work vehicles.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions daily (yes, we always take precaution during extreme weather events when it’s unsafe to be working outside).
  • Clean driving record.
  • Interest in outdoor design, visual aesthetic, and trends is useful.

Landscaping is active & engaging. Learn more about plants and biodiversity with likeminded people in a casual office setting with a team of Oasis All-Stars to collaborate with.

Full-time. Monday - Friday.
6:30 a.m. start time means you get off early to enjoy evenings & weekends.

$16 - $24 per hour, depending on experience.

Landscape Designer

Do you have experience designing outdoor spaces, with a passion for horticulture and exterior design trends? We would love to meet you!

Qualified landscape designers who care about sustainability, smarter landscaping techniques, and all around outdoor beauty are always welcome to apply.

Landscape Designer responsibilities include:

  • Meeting clients on-site for property assessments.
  • Landscape designs, featuring plant & hardscaping elements (Quiet Village designs are native-forward, focused on sustainable alternatives to “traditional” shortcuts).
  • Designing reimagined outdoor spaces using AutoCAD, DynaScape, Vip3D, Google SketchUp, or Hand-drawn landscape design sketches.
  • Estimating, project communication & coordination.
  • Overseeing installation when needed on complex installation projects in coordination with our design/build construction team.
  • Proactive communication with clients and our team of 'Oasis All-Stars'.

Degree or study of landscape design, landscape architecture, hardscape design, construction, horticulture, pool design or related field is required. Experience with Aspire, Boss, or similar software would be very useful.

Our team is collaborative and welcoming to driven professionals who are passionate about bringing the benefits of outdoor living to every property we impact.

Full-time. Monday - Friday.
Semi-flexible schedule. Some early evening commitments may be required to meet with clients.

Excellent base salary plus commission.

$60,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year, depending on experience.

Construction Crew Leader / Construction Foreman

Do you like staying active, unafraid of getting your hands dirty to create breathtaking outdoor spaces? Do you have experience building retaining walls, paver patios, outdoor kitchens, firepits, walkways & pergolas? Is the office cubicle life not for you?

As a Landscaping Construction Crew Leader/Foreman you are the key to our success in making over outdoor areas. We rely on you to work with a small team of 2-4 people on job sites to bring a landscape design concept to life!

Landscape Construction Crew Leader/Foreman Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain concrete saws, dingoes, and bobcats safely and efficiently.
  • Install hardscapes - such as retaining walls, paver patios, walkways, and fire pits.
  • Read landscape designs and install all materials according to plan.
  • Keep track of time and materials used on the job using a smart phone.
  • Occasional irrigation, lighting, and seasonal jobs (like snow plowing).

If you have at least 2 years of experience in landscape construction, we would be happy to meet you. A valid driver's license is absolutely required (no exceptions - you must be able to drive our trucks to job sites).

Full-time. Monday - Friday.
6:30 a.m. start time means you get off early to enjoy evenings & weekends.

$24 - $30 per hour, depending on experience.
